This may seem unnecessarily complicated, but it does demonstrate the complexity of what sometimes appears to be simple actions.
Conservation of Energy in physics implies that energy can be neither created nor destroyed, although it can be changed from one form into another. The photo above shows a Large Maple Tree that needed to be removed for safety concerns. After a tree is taken down, what happens to all of that energy? Our value, appreciation, and gratitude for the resources our environment provides is seemingly endless. This one tree provided fuel for heat, cooking, mulching, soil building, and lumber for these recently built cabinets, crafted from the exact tree in the photo. In some manner of thinking, that energy lives in perpetuity, potentially being passed down from generation to generation if so desired, and valued.
